Calendar

As a reminder, the Tiretown Golf Club meeting will be held this Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Alpha Center (662 Wolf Ledges Parkway), beginning at 10 a.m.

Your presence is greatly appreciated as we will announce much of our plans and events for the 2024 calendar year. We have a great deal ahead of us — including the Scholarship Tournament, Ohio Cup @ Good Park, JazzFest, Scholarship Banquet, numerous volunteer opportunities (Kaulig Championship at Firestone Country Club, Senior Summit at Firestone High School, Buchtel’s Back to School Festival).

Our organization continues to grow and expand. As in the past, we will continue to meet every third Saturday of every month, except July and August. If anyone would like to add events to the calendar please contact Historian and web manager, Larry Thomas via email.

In addition, Chuck Maroon of Summit Senior Golf Association will have a membership presentation. As we discussed the past two years, it would be greatly beneficial to Tiretown to increase its numbers among SSGOA. Currently, we have only five members committed to playing. I believe our increased participation and partnership with SSGOA will be mutually beneficial to both organizations.

If anyone has any questions or would like to add to the agenda, please let me know by noon Thursday. We look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday at the first meeting of the new year.
